The European Collection of Cell Cultures

The European Collection of Cell Cultures (ECACC) was established in 1984.
It is recognised as an International Depository Authority under the Budapest Treaty. The cell lines available include those stored by the ECACC, the European Human Cell Bank and the Hybridoma Collection; it is also able to supply cell lines held by ATCC. It offers services in all areas of characterisation, standardisation and validation (isoenzyme analysis, DNA fingerprinting and cytogenetic analysis). A screening service is also available for the identification of contamination and for mycoplasma eradication.

The ECACC catalogue is periodically updated with the data that the ECACC staff sends to us. If you want a more updated version, you can click directly to the ECACC Cell Culture Page .
