RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split confluent cultures 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37C.

Derived from the pleural effusion of a 62-year-old Caucasian male. The cells are tumorigenic in nude mice. This cell line has only been subject to preliminary quality control procedures. Authentication tests such as DNA fingerprinting will be performed only when this cell line is requested.
