90% RPMI 1640 + 10% FBS maintain at 0.5-1.0 x 106 cells/ml at 37C with 5% CO2 (or may be grown in closed flasks) saturation density at about 2.0-2.5 x 10 6 cells/ml;
doubling time of ca. 20-30 hours;
frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 5 x 106 cells/ampoule;
negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, RNA hybridization assays;
