80% TC 100 medium + 20% FBS cells are difficult to culture and grow slowly! split saturated culture 1:4 to 1:5 every 4-5 days no CO2 (keep lid of flask closed) at room temperature (20-25C) cell harvest of about 0.5 x 106 cells/ml;
frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 1 x 106 cells/ampoule;
negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, RNA hybridization assays;
Validated by: isoenzymes (confirmed as not murine and not primate with IEF of AST, PEP B)
