80-85% RPMI 1640 + 15-20% FBS split saturated culture 1:3 every 3-4 days; maintain at ca. 0.4-0.8 x 106 cells/ml; seed out after thawing at ca. 0.5 x 10 6 cells/ml at 37C with 5% CO2 maximal density at ca. 1 x 106 cells/ml;
doubling time of ca. 35-40 hours;
frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 5 x 106 cells/ampoule;
negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, RNA hybridization, PCR assays;
