DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 15% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split confluent cultures 1:10 to 1:20 i.e. seeding at 1-2x100,000 cells/25cm² using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 10-15% CO2; 37C.
Passages: 12;
Clone of the line BE10-Intermediate (93040119). The cells have elevated levels of tissue plasminogen activity but do not grow in agar or in BDIX rats. The cells should not be used beyond passage 24 as they start to form tumours.
