DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split confluent cultures 1:3 i.e. seeding at 4x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37C.
Ethyl nitrosourea induced tumour cell line. Neuronal cells useful in research of distribution of neurotransmitter synthesis and brain specific antigens among nerve and glia. Cell morphology significantly affected when grown in serum free media.
