RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split confluent cultures 1:5 to 1:10 i.e. seeding at 5x1,000-2x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA, 5% CO2; 37C.
Derived from a lung squamous cell carcinoma of a 72 year old Caucasian male. From the same patient as the B-lymphoblastoid cell line AGLCL (89120566).Cells grow as large swollen aggregates, which will detach and eventually grow in suspension.
