DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Calf Serum (CS). Split confluent cultures 1:4 to 1:10 i.e. seeding at 1-3x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.1% trypsin for 3-5 minutes; 5% CO2; 37C.

Karyotype: 2n = 40
Cell morphology is different from the parent clone (A31) and there is a loss of sensitivity to contact inhibition of cell division. The cells are highly tumorigenic. Superinfection with MuLV results in rescue of MSV.
