Mitsuhashi and Maramorosch Insect Medium (pH 7.0) + 2mM Glutamine + 0.65% Luteinising Hormone (LH) + 20% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split confluent cultures 1:10 to 1:20 i.e. seeding at 3x1,000 to 2x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin; 28C.
