DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split confluent cultures 1:2 to 1:3 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37C.

Derived from normal lung tissue of 20 year old male caucasian with osteosarcoma metastatic to the lung. The cell line was initiated from enzyme dispersed tissue. The cells can undergo a further 9 population doublings.
