Description: mouse hepatoma cell line was derived from the BW7756 tumor that arose in a C57L mouse; cells were described to secrete several liver-specific products (e.g. albumin, alpha1-antitrypsin, alpha-fetoprotein, amylase); cells may grow in serum-free medium when supplemented with dexamethasone and selenium (= ATCC CRL 1830) confirmed as mouse with IEF of AST, MDH, NP, PEP B
