EMEM(EBSS) + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) or RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 50-100 IU/ml murine IFN + 5-10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split confluent cultures 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37C.

Derived from the MSV.B line (ECACC No. 90031901) which has been exposed to 50 IU/ml Interferon for over 200 passages. Unlike the parent line, the cells are Non-malignant and do Not form tumours in nude mice.
