Presently, biowep is being developed at the National Cancer Research Institute in Genoa, Italy, by a group lead by Paolo Romano.

• biowep-announce, an open list of announces on biowep, it is intended for end users and installers that are only interested in being informed about new versions, important changes, ....
• biowep-forum, an open discussion list on biowep features, it is intended for end users only and it should be the main support channel between developers and end users
• biowep-dev, a closed discussion list for biowep developers and installers
